The first ten minutes of a day are quieter than we think. They are also the easiest place to set a tone without a full routine.

Pick one thing that signals safety: a warm drink, a short walk, a single line in a notebook. Make it small enough that you never skip it.

A routine that is too big becomes a test. A routine that is tiny becomes a signal.

If you want more structure later, it can grow. But the signal is the point, not the length.
