When the mind is loud, the goal is not to silence it. The goal is to reduce intensity so you can choose what happens next.

Protocol

  • Name the pressure: say it out loud in one sentence.
  • Lower the volume: exhale slowly for a count of eight.
  • Anchor the body: press your feet into the floor and notice the contact.
  • Choose the next five minutes, not the next five hours.

If you repeat this twice a day for a week, you will notice your default intensity drop.
